California, USA….the bark had
peeled away from a piece of Oak
and to my enjoyment, the worm
trails were an incredible natural
maze…I couldn’t help but think
with a smile…...this is
something that I would see from
one of my favorite Masters,

Deep In The Forest
Deep In The Forest was captured in the
Fall of 2007 near Bailey Creek, just west of
Mount Lassen in Northern California, USA,
shot with an older Canon A640…....I was
looking for an abstract look, when this
beautiful old stump caught my eye.....to me
this has an enchanted feel, or maybe a bit
mystical. The editing on this image
consists of color enhancement only

Dawn was shot at Shasta Lake in
Northern California,USA in October,
2008…..during the drought…..This is how
so much of our lovely Shasta Lake was
looking;and the prediction is for a long
drought. Since then our rainfall totals
reached above normal and the lake is
beautiful once again. Captured with an
older Canon A640

The three image to the left were captured
from the inside of my window looking out
as the dew droplets were thawing out after
a freeze. The Other Side and Morning Dew
Screen remain unedited; Liquid Gold Vase
has been edited by merging the vase into
the image for this final presentation. All
three were captured in northern California,
USA in 2010 with my Canon G10.

Precious Light Two
The Gateway
Sailing The Liquid Blue and The Gateway both
began with nothing more than water droplets
on the outside of the window after they had
thawed; I edited both for these final
presentations. Precious Light Two is a
montage of four separate images all captured
from the inside of the window looking east as
the sun was just rising and are unedited. All
three were captured in northern California,
USA in 2010 with my Canon G10

The six images to the left are what I refer to as Liquid
Art. Each image was created in liquid form and
captured with my Canon G10. My Liquid Art series
was created entirely from ingredients found in my
kitchen. I find these images to be very uplifting and
high in energy. .
